The house is green!

This week our house passed it’s Energy Star certification, earning a green stamp of approval. David Weekley follows a great environmental program that ends up being about 35% more effecient than current Energy Star standards. In addition to vinyl frame, argon insulated glass windows and TechShield roof decking, the house has two 15 SEER AC units with Puron R-410 refirgerant, upgraded R-value ducts and insulation.

The Godfather… Part 1

One of my best friends Andrew and his wife Nicole asked me to be the Godfather of their son Brendan. Andrew and I have known each other since pre-school and were roommates in college, so of course I was honored by the request. I haven’t figured out what my new special powers are, but I think I’ll begin by granting some wishes… or something!

Baby Shower Fun!

It’s been a while since my last post, so sorry for the wait! I’ll be making several back posts to cover Christmas and New Year, but in the meantime, here’s the latest update…
Shelley’s sister Stacy and best friend Wendy put together a wonderful shower for our little baby girl. The event took place at Sugar Baby’s Cupcake Boutique this past Saturday. People drove in from all over Texas to attend, so thanks to everyone for making it a great shower!

D-Town visits H-Town!

The Dallas clan came to town for our baby shower this past weekend. After the festivities we took a quick drive to the construction site. I’m still amazed at how much gets completed each week. The builder recently finished installing windows, A/C units, duct work, and capped it off with a roof! Here are a few pics of the family out front.
What has 4 thumbs and can’t wait to move in??? These guys!!!
